Do You Find Yourself . . .

Preoccupied with the Internet (thinking about previous online activity or anticipating
the next online session)?
Spending longer and longer periods of time online in order to escape or feel satisfied?
Unsuccessful at efforts to control, cut back or stop Internet use?
Feeling restless, moody, depressed or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop
Internet use?
Staying online longer and more often that you originally intended?
Coastal Counseling Center Can Help!

Coastal Counseling Center is offering a group to help adults untangle
themselves from Internet Addiction!  The cost is only $20 for the
assessment and $20 per group session.  You can
enter the group at any
point (after the assessment) and
exit after the fifth session or you may
stay until you conclude you have the tools you need to use the Internet
without becoming tangled in the web again.  We do ask for a commitment
to the program for at least
five group sessions.  Contact the Center for
enrolling into the program.
None of us starts out with the intent to become addicted.  We
become bored or just curious - perhaps wanting something to
bring a little relief to life's struggles.  We find ourselves staying
on later & later and/or more often than we planned.  We may
feel bad or guilty that it has affected our relationships.  We
make promises to ourselves and to significant others.  Then
boredom or the need for relief returns.  We tell ourselves,
"I
need this!  I deserve to have an outlet!"
 Before we know it, we
are tangled in the web.
